I am having the same problem:
Titanium Developer (1.2.1) Packaging Error
Laney Dale, could you be specific as to what text specifically that you corrected?
I am currently using Titanium 1.2, deploying an iPhone application on version 0.8.1, (and tried another app using version 1.0, 1.1, and 1.2) with the same problem on all app deployments.
In the first app, on the "Edit" screen my app id is "com.aaa.bbb" for example, version = "1.0", titanium SDK = "0.8.1".
I am able to "run on device" on my actual ipod, so I am familiar with creating the provsioning profile from Apple, etc. Followed similar instructions in the "Deployment" tab on Apple's website.
When I click "Package" button on the "distribute" tab, it immediately returns with the error above.
Some people have said to "Fixed by placing a 0 in front of my .8.1 version number." but this is not an issue with me. (http://developer.appcelerator.com/question/971/packaging-failed)
Others have suggested simply switching the SDK and trying again, but this doesn't work for me either. (http://developer.appcelerator.com/question/11491/packaging-error-iphone-mobile-sdk-093)
Does anyone know what this partial error actually means or how to resolve it?
Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I cannot seem to find a solution.
Thanks in advance.

I have the same problem… Tried to make it work with reinstalling the certs and profiles, but this only made the installation on my iPhone say the "same": Install Error

I fixed it. I went to the edit your app section in titanium mobile, changed the version form .9 to 1 and corrected some text and it worked.
