Android 1.5 SDK

Hi Folks,

Does anyone happen to know what changed in the Titanium SDK to cause applications to stop working on the Android 1.5 SDK?

Tried dropping the version numbering in the AndroidManifest file to support 1.5 but it crashes straight away!

Thanks! :)

Penetration of 1.5 is pretty low currently - with 1.6 having about 1/3 of the Android market currently.

I'd like the option of having more of the 2+ APIs available within Ti - bring the whole Android API stack much more current. While we can currently target 2+ in the emulator I don't think it does anything more than specify which emulator image to run.

There's a couple of additions to 2.2 that I'd like to see - parent visibility events being one of them.

  • I think 1.6 is the min-requirement on Android now.

Was just wondering why it changed! I know many of the 2.2 apps for Android are on 1.5… But there all native so that would be expect! :) ha
