Code Completion Eclipse
Hi,
Not exactly a question, except to let me know what you think.
I've created mobile javascript code completion/auto complete for Eclipse (with Aptana plugin).

Thanks,
James

Haven't actually tested it yet, but will as soon as I get the chance.
Looks very promising!
Thanks for your effort!

Great James!
I am currently using Eclipse. Will your code completion work WITHOUT the Aptana plugin? Aptana is nice but don't care for embedded advertising. This would be great if it would work natively in Eclipse.
Thanks for doing this!

Hi, Unfortunately it won't work stand alone.
The only bit working so far is a javascript header file which is interpreted by Aptana. But that's enough to provide good code completion.
The plugin that I was writing (that isn't quite working) was simply trying to automatically hook in the javascript file the way Aptana wants, and provide a view for Titanium documentation and example within Eclipse, but again extending Aptana extension points.
If you can find something that will autocomplete off JSDoc files MBirth has on here http://wiki.birth-online.de/know-how/software/titanium but Adobe no longer seem to distribute JSEclipse so I'm not sure how it would work in Eclipse.
