installing my desktop application from the public link

i made some updates on my desktop application, packaged it then downloaded it from the link provided and it worked fine but when the user downloads it after installation he is always asked whenever he runs the application to update it and it updates from an old version (not the one currently published )

  • Honestly, the way apps are updated needs to be changed. We should be hosting the update files and we should have more control over how and when the app is updated. We should be able to force updates if available, check updates on beginning before moving on.

  • I have exactly the same problem! It only happens on Windows - Mac and Linux are working fine!
