pass value to sms body

I am able to successfully call the sms app and pre-populate it with a number, but is there any way to populate the body of the sms with a variable value, or static one for that matter. I have not been able to find a way to do this?

I don't need it to fire automatically or anything, just want the body to have a "default" or called value.

  • Not programmatically possible right now. I asked this question a day or two ago, so I know how you feel =P Right now all you can really do is call the SMS application and set the number.
