Android push notification via urban airship

Has anyone done this yet? Now that UA supports android I suppose that it might be something forthcoming? Perhaps it is already there? Appcelerator and UA make push notifications daed simple on iOS, be nice to see something as slick for android too.

Thoughts?

  • I think you'll have to wait until Plus is released: http://www.appcelerator.com/products/titaniumplus/

  • Looks like Titanium Plus has been released, however, I don't see any documentation around implementing this within Android.

Anyone had any luck with this yet?
