Transferring file via iTune to app on ipad/iphone ?

hi,

Is there a way for user to select files (images, songs, books…etc) in iTune and transfer those to the app built with titanium running on iPad ? just like people could transfer pdfs from computer to iPad and read in iBooks.

Is this possible ? thanks.
