Webview in iPad Simulator does not respond to user

I have a little iPad test app that creates a window and adds a Webview pointing at http://www.google.com.

I see the view and it is correctly navigated to Google, but when I attempt to do anything on the page it does not respond (mouse or kbd).

Any ideas

Note: I just tried running an iPhone app (KitchenSink) in the iPad Simulator and Webviews in the iPhone app exhibited the same behavior.

Using mobile SDK 1.1.2 if that helps.

  • I can confirm that one. It's a bug. I think iPad support is in it's early stages.

    None of the pickers work on iPad yet, either.

  • Yes, confirmed. KS loads into the iPad but basically nothing works when you touch.
