Panorama view

Hi all

Does anyone in here have an idea on how to make a panorama view of a image and show it on an iPad through titanium?

Best regards
Dennis

  • Maybe you could use a scrollview ?
I suppose you want to show a very wide image and to be able to pan it left-right.

  • Hi Tamas

This is the solution I am using right now, I would like to have a image which can be dragged endlessly to either side.

  • How I would do this is actually place three of the images next to each other in a scroll view.

    1 - 2 - 3

Initially show 2, when it goes out of focus either to 1 or 3 move the image view to the end of 3 or before 1. So basically, it would feel like you were going in circles but really you are just moving the images around.

You may want to just search javascript panoramic viewer on Google.

  • This may be possible using the 3D Transformations with a cubic panorama image. The question would be if the z index would give you the right perspective inside the image. A starting point may be a image view or a scroll view with a image background.

  • Here a newer thread. Perhaps the TiCarousel can help.

  • I have a very old html-Version: http://tools.webmasterei.com/panoramamap/
In this solution a div has a background-image, which is very long and gits to 360°. After surrounding ist begins at start …

BUT: I think it is a better ideato realize the problem with native tools. HAs anyone an idea? The HTML-solution is very unsmootie (the pano jumps)
