flash player 10 swf files won't display in Titanium Developer 1 for linux

I can't get flash player 10 swf files to display in my desktop application on titanium developer 1 for linux (ubuntu). I have tried everything I can think of including:

  • running it on a completely clean install of ubuntu.
  • every type of flash player imaginable
  • calling a page with a flash file on it from sandbox

Regardless of what I do, I just get a grey box where the flash content is supposed to be.

Some flash content does work (about 20%), including the flash test page for adobe, which when I call load it using sandbox tells me that it is using flash player 10 for linux and working correctly.

Is this a problem with the flash version?

  • Set wmode to opaque or transparent and it should work fine.

  • I'm having this same issue with running some Flash/swf in a desktop app for Mac OSX. It displays fine when run on a Windows PC.

The weird things is, is that I can hear the video (my swf is an FLV video player) but I cannot see it.

I have tried different wmode settings.

    Anyone else had this problem?
