Windows: "missing installer" when updating to 1.2.0

Started Titanium 1.0 (Win XP) today. First it offered me to update Mobile SDK to 1.2.0; afterwards it offered me to update the application itself to 1.2.0. Immediately after clicking on the update link within the application, I got a modal window stating "Error: Missing installer and application has additional modules that are needed". This message reappears when I try to launch the application. I guess it's the same old song and dance: uninstall Titanium according to http://www.codestrong.com/timobile/howto/remove/, and reinstall it again. sigh

  • Hey Christian, please try following the instructions here. You're on Windows XP, so your paths will be a little different. ProgramData is usually "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data"

  • I did a complete reinstall already. FWIW, upgrade from 1.1 to 1.2 worked on OS X.
