SDK always shown as loading

When I switch to "Run Emulator" mode the SDK is always shown as "Loading" for both iPhone and Android. I can get iPhone to show "3.1" if I launch Titanium from the command line with

/Applications/Titanium Developer.app/Contents/MacOS/Titanium Developer --debug

but not with Android. It all worked fine with 0.8 bit not now with 1.0. I haven't changed the Android SDK or its location. Issues may not be related between the two emulators.

Anyone else seen this? How did you fix it?

  • We require SDK Tools v5 and platform 1.6 (API Level 4) for 1.0.

If your tooling is older than v4 you can't upgrade via the android command. You need to go get the latest Starter Pacl for your platform and unzip it so that it overwrites the existing contents. Then run android and make sure you have the up-to-date platforms.
