Extending the android platform

I am writing an application for Android and I need to extend some of the titanium functionality I noticed that there is no tutorial/tools on how to do this for android only iphone.

Do you plan on adding this functionality to android as well?

If it is not possible to extend code in a similar way to iphone, how can I import a native library into titanium and access it?

    • This is marked as resolved on the ticket for 1.4

Is this part of the general 1.4 release? If so are there any FAQ's or is there any general guidance on how to achieve?

  • Thanks for the info Don. I see that it is for release 1.3 slated for May 3rd, would you happen to know when this is expected to be committed to github?

That way I can build from source….
