auto-height for label more than auto-height for row

There seems to be a mismatch between the height set of a label and it's container row when both are set to 'auto' (i.e. the rowheight is less than the text depth - so the text extends beyond the bottom of the row).

I thought I had a workaround by adding a 'gash' row but the difference seems to be proportional to the depth of the text, so that couldn't handle it.

cheers,
Chris

  • Ok, I've worked it out - adding 'top', 'left', 'right' and 'bottom' values keeps the text neatly under control.

  • I'm having the same issue. @Chris Reed's solution doesn't appear to work in my case.
