Run Android emulator option not visible when creating new project

hello

i understand that creating a new mobile project using windows requires:

  1. click the "new project" icon and follow instructions
  2. copy a random "build" folder from an existing working project into the newly created project
  3. the Android emulator option will be visible.

is this the right way? why isn't it created automatically for me? could that cause any problems when running my app on an Android emulator (because I've been experiencing some problems..)?

    There is a bug in the project creation code that didn't get fixed in 1.2.0. If you search for android.py you'll see several questions and answers regarding the problem.
