can other views have a badge like the tabs?

Hy,

I want the openingscreen of my app like the one the popular facebook app has. In my app I want to give the icons on the page a badge when needed. Is it possible or do I have to work with images and layers?

    Check out the KitchenSink 'Dashboard View' demo. [Base UI > Views > Dashboard View]

    It should give you exactly what you need ;)

    You can set the 'badge' property to a dashboardItem, which will set the red number badge to it.
