Kitchen Sink force close on startup

I am trying to deploy the Kitchen Sink app to my Android 1.6 phone. Before this, I tried a basic "hello world" app. The hello world app installs and runs fine, but the Kitchen Sink app gives a force close error after the splash screen is displayed.

Doing a log trace shows a FileNotFoundException "/sdcard/Ti.de
bug/com.nolanwright.kitchensink/Resources/app.js".

But the apk file is in the /data/app/com.nolanwright directory.

  • Did you try dropping the Resources of the Kitchen SInk in a new project? Could be that the build artifacts from the project in version control are somehow hosed on your system.
