Push Timer

Hi!
I would like to create a simple timer, witch alert the user 10, and 5 minutes before the end, via Push notification.

It's the same thing than the Apple's Clock, so it doesn't need networking (to use on iTouch).

So, how can I alert the user "End in 10 minutes" for sample, even if the app is closed?

Maybe via push, but I didn't understand how it works.

  • Hi Ivan,

    Sounds like what you're looking for is local push notifications which won't be available until iPhone OS 4 is released. Until then there's no way to do the notification you're looking for except via the existing push service which wouldn't work on an iPod touch or an iPad.
