Dynamically updating webview url property

I've been experimenting with the webview, and the question I was hoping to get the answer to is, is it possible to dynamically update the webview url property?

The webview has a load event, and what I would love to be able to do is have this event set webview.url to the url of the page that the webview is displaying.

Is this possible? I know you can manually set webview.url however I cannot seem to get the url of the page.

While not implemented yet, we do have a ticket open to track a more complete implementation of the UIWebView APIs - you might consider also adding a comment there and tracking the ticket for changes:

  • I'm really looking forward to this sort of implementation and currently have an application in development that needs more complete interaction between native views and the webview.

    Cheers!
