Blank Screen on Run Emulator

I've installed and followed the basics as detailed here http://developer.appcelerator.com/doc/mobile/get_started (btw I take it the 2nd screendump should have 'mobile' selected, not desktop) and whenever I go to 'Run Emulator' There is a blank grey screen with no option for Android. Have I missed something out here?

Thank you in advance for any reply :)

  • There are problems in 1.2.0 that cause that issue. We're going to release 1.3.0 most likely tomorrow. Or you can try and use a nightly build to get up and running now.

  • I've tried the nightly build and that doesn't work either. However I did notice that if I try and create a new project using 1.3.0 it says "Project creation error: Error creating project. Please try again"

  • Just something to try, to resolve the blank "Test & Package" screen..

    • close TiDev
    • delete everything inside your ~/.android/avd/ directory
    • start TiDev
    • go to your project's Edit page and simply "save changes"
    • launch your app. It took 3 attempts to launch, but then it worked fine
