Anyone try anything with ringtones using appcelerator?

I have an audio file packaged with my app that I would like to give the user the option of installing as a ringtone…
Apparently on iphone anything placed in the itunes library/ringtones can be used, but I'm assuming a titanium app can't copy a file there (or can it?)…

The platform.openURL doesnt' want to read the .m4r file (that itunes apparently needs), so…

Any ideas?
