iPad - webView - orientation change will increase 'bowser width' but not decrease

When you load an html doc into a webview it will take the viewers width as 100%. When you chang to landscape mode, and as a result the viewers width increases, so will the document inside. However, when you go the other way around, the document will stay wide while the viewers width decreases. This causes all sorts of issues. Need to reload to fix the issue…

  • Happening to me too for a jQuery mobile app. You ever figure out what caused the issue?

I tried another technique that successfully re-sizes the webview, but the HTML does not re-flow so the page has white to the side and gets clipped.
