Android - project not updating

got a weird thing happening:
My project works fine on the iphone side. Just started testing it with android again (after not bothering for a few weeks) and the version that pops up in the emulator is the one from a few weeks ago (ie. not the newest edits, etc).

I have uninstalled the app from the emulator, 'updated' the tiapp.xml file, tried to delete the android 'build' folder (though that caused titanium to be unable to build the app) but whenever I launch it from titanium, it builds the same version from a while ago.

How can I force TI to 'rebuild' the newest version? what is it holding on to?

Thanks!
David
