php on iphone?

Is there no way to include php/ruby/python with the mobile apps? I've been primarily working with the Desktop and this is the feature that drew me to the appcelerator in the first place…

    Apple forbids any scripting language except javascript ( and this run into a native webview ).

  • Actually, it is possible to use Ruby (and in theory PHP). http://rhomobile.com/ does exactly that.
