iPhone SDK 3.2

If I try to run any iPhone app using the 3.2 SDK, it opens the app in the iPad simulator. If I change the hardware device for the simulator to iPhone, it changes right back when I relaunch the application.

Can anyone help me with how to get it to launch in the appropriate device?

    There is no 3.2 for iPhone
    iPhone OS 3.2 is exclusively for the iPad
