  • With Titanium there's a version for the mobile SDK, another for the desktop SDK and a third for the Developer tool itself so that might be where some of the confusion is coming from.

The newest version of the Developer tool itself (the app you see when you launch Titanium) is 1.2.1 and you'll see that in the title bar of the app.

The 1.3.0 update that came out the other day was the mobile SDK only and you'll only see that when you are selecting the version of the SDK to use for building your apps.

The newest version of the desktop SDK is 1.0.0.

When you create a new project, if you set the project type to "Desktop" the only SDK's you can select from in the "Titanium SDK version" field are the versions of the desktop SDK you have installed. If you select "Mobile" or "iPad" for your project type then you'll see the mobile SDK's listed instead.

So the only way to see the new 1.3.0 is to be working on a mobile or iPad app.

Hope that helps clear things up.
