Ti.Media.vibrate : no vibrations

Hello,
Is it a known bug? This used to work fine in previous 1.0 release. I am using currenlty 1.3.0 and vibrate seems to be broken.
Using on iphone.

Thanks

Seb

  • Hey Seb,

    Just installed Kitchen Sink on my 3.1.3 iPhone 3G and vibrate seems to be working there. What does your configuration look like? Are you getting any exceptions?

  • Oooops sorry Kevin. Shame on me. Found that the vibrate option in my iPhone settings
    was OFF… I had looked everywhere except into the Sound category ….
    sorry again, all is good now!

  • On android the AndroidManifest.xml is missing a permission which if not added to the manifest file shows an error.

    <uses-permission android:name="android.permission.VIBRATE"/>

    Update

    Sorry but I forgot that I was using a custom manifest so the file was not being update. My fault :)
