iPad orientation at app launch

Hi,

Despite specifying that the app can have any orientation in app.js, whenever I launch an iPad app on the simulator it always launches in Portrait mode. (And thus, sideways, if the simulator is already in landscape)

Is there any way to make sure it launches in the orientation mode of the device at launch time?

  • In 1.2, the default Orientation images (splash images) not launch correctly but the orientation switch is ok. Now with 1.3, it solved images issue but introduced orientation bug you are describing.

    In both cases, splash image is not rendered correctly, it will switch to Default.png before loading the app.

  • Any news about this issue ? I want the SP of my App load according the iPad orientation too.
