Memory Usage Too High

I believe this was covered on the old forums, but I'm not able to search them anymore. Titanium slowly increases its memory usage over time. When you close a page, a little but not all of the memory seems to get released. Just in a minute or two I got my app to go up to 400,755 K in the task manager by opening multiple windows. With Firefox, I'm struggling to get it to use more than 100,000 K with the same amount of activity. It seems like Firefox maxes out and then writes to the hard disk. My users are reporting intermittent crashes. I'm guessing the app gets so bogged down that it crashes. Any ideas?

  • Desktop. I'm also seeing similar behavior on OS X. My app has been running all day. Only one very basic window open currently. Activity monitor is showing it at 1.35GB of Real Memory and 2.12GB of Virtual Memory. Seems kind of off the charts for what it is.
