Is there a way to save a file from an app onto the iPhone that can then be retrieved by connecting the device to a computer and browsing the disc access?

My example is I'd like to export all the data from a database to csv and then connect the iPhone to a computer to retrieve the csv.

I've suggested (and got working) a method to email the csv file, but my client insists he wants to do it by connection.

If it not possible please say so and I can let the client know.
