Question about confidentiality

Hi,i'm currently developing an application for an enterprise and i would like to know i some sources from the applications developped are sent to appcelerator when debugging or packaging because i see an article which tells that sources files are sent to proprietary server which send me then the binaries. If it's true i think it is not a confidential way of programming.

Can i have explanations please ?

  • I saw this here, Is It true?

"It does this by submitting the source files to a proprietary server-side solution which then returns the binaries"

  • If you'd like to use our cloud based service for packaging for multiple platforms, then yes, your source code will be sent to our servers. We will create downloadable binaries that you can use for distributing your application. This is not strictly necessary however - it is possible to package your application manually, though it is a manual and undocumented process at this point (which we need to rectify). For now, you can stop by #titanium_dev on irc.freenode.net to chat up the Titanium core team on how to go about this process.
