simulator/emulator not working at all

hi, i am trying to get appcelerator set up now that i have downloaded iphone sdk 3.2. i am running snow leopard, titanium developer 1.2.1. everytime i try to run the kitchen sink i get the following output:

[INFO] Launching application in Simulator
2010-06-21 11:26:18.100 osascript[1279:607] Error loading /Library/ScriptingAdditions/Adobe Unit Types.osax/Contents/MacOS/Adobe Unit Types: dlopen(/Library/ScriptingAdditions/Adobe Unit Types.osax/Contents/MacOS/Adobe Unit Types, 262): no suitable image found. Did find:
/Library/ScriptingAdditions/Adobe Unit Types.osax/Contents/MacOS/Adobe Unit Types: no matching architecture in universal wrapper
osascript: OpenScripting.framework - scripting addition "/Library/ScriptingAdditions/Adobe Unit Types.osax" declares no loadable handlers.
/Library/Application Support/Titanium/mobilesdk/osx/1.2.0/iphone/iphone_sim_activate.scpt: execution error: iPhone Simulator got an error: Connection is invalid. (-609)
[INFO] Launched application in Simulator (165.06 seconds)
[INFO] Application has exited from Simulator

android doesn't work at all. i haven't figured out what is going on there. i should say, that when i launch the simulator or emulator (android) outside of appcelerator, it works fine.

  • This is a 32-bit vs 64-bit problem. Here's a fix from Adobe.
