GUID Generation

Is there a way to generate GUID's in Titanium's Mobile API? If not, can a GUID be created indirectly via a SQLite select statement?

    Update: I also stumbled over Titanium.Platform.createUUID() :)
    While it's a little more unique than a GUID - it will probably fit the bill for you :)
