How can I combine overlay image with photo?

I checked camera_overlay.js in KitchenSink. And I can not find the way to combine overlay image with photo image. I would like to make simple photo frame app.
Please advise me.

  • I created an image with gradient effect, saved as png then use that image as backgroundImage to a view object, also, set the view backgroundColor to transparent, append that view on top of your photo image. In my case, it's not just a frame, it's a gradient image fades from corners.

  • Thanks, Daniel! But It would be view on the iPhone.
    Maybe my explanation was not good.

    I would like to save it to file or send it out to mail or so.
    So I need to combine the image with frame image and taken photo to one image.
