Unable to create package - cloud down?

I'm trying to package my app for Windows, as either a Network or a Bundled installer (tried both), Publish privacy set to Private and Release to Users set to no.
It takes a long, long while, when eventually I get a timeout error. Is it just me having a network issue on my end, or is the cloud service down?

I'm using Titanium Developer 1.0, using the 1.0 Desktop SDK on OS X Snow Leopard.

Sorry folks. We had a hiccup in our packaging server last week. Things seem back to normal now, so please try packaging again. If you have issues packaging in the future, please file a bug directly at https://appcelerator.lighthouseapp.com/projects/25719-titanium-desktop and assign it to me. Thanks!

  • same problem here since two days!

Packaging time out for windows or for OSX. My app is working in the titanium developper environnment but it seems that the cloud doens't answer.

    How can we resolve that?

There is no messages or blog or wathever from the titanium devs to tell us something that :

    • we have a problem with clouds ?

A status could be very nice because i began to develop with Titanium for a project and I'd like to present it also ! (not in the titanium environnement but bundled)

  • The timeout seems to be cloud related and has affected users for more than a week. At times you can publish and have your previously installed apps update, but it's hit or miss whether your public download will show all the available packages. The links to my packages show 4 windows releases built on 1/14. My public download page shows 1 mac and 2 linux builds (32 and 64 bit) only.

  • While waiting for an answer and retrying the packaging, (and also having slept now :) ) I installed a windows machine with Titanium Desktop, retried it there and -unless the packaging is really slow- it's going in the same direction: a timeout.
    Restarting Titanium Developer doesn't help.

Luckily I wasn't planning a final release today :), but I was going to have a big live preview for my main user. I guess I can do the local build and copy the result around…gonna take some effort I'm afraid.

Oh, and to be entirely clear: I'm NOT getting an 'invalid token'. It's just an incredible waiting time after which I get a timeout error.

  • just a bump…problem persists.
I have tried many things by now:

building from (my default OS) OSX (snow leopard) as well as from Windows XP, both from Titanium Developer 1.0 and the 1.0 Desktop SDK, trying bundled as well as network packages, and I've consistenly opted for Publish privacy 'private' and 'release to users' set to 'no'.

When I build for (for example) OSX with these settings, it all works fine. But choosing for Windows it consistently times out.

    Please help!

  • re-start Titanium Developer when you receive that error. it's a session related error (bad error message)

  • As of Mon Mar 22 09:57:11 EDT 2010, I'm still receiving timeouts (after 20 minutes) when packaging. I have on occasion received the "invalid token" message, but most often the packaging simply times out. I have not been able to successfully create a package since about Wednesday or Thursday last week.

I'm running Ti Developer 1.0 on OSX, and I'll be happy to collect and provide any debugging info that might help.
