Application Loader - Implications
Apple have released this statement tonight. Does anyone know what the implication of this means?
I have attempted to utilize this with no joy on Titanium zipped builds.
Is this or something else the file that needs to be uploaded?
Help!
Andy
Beginning July 22, you will need to use Application Loader to submit your binary to iTunes Connect. Binary uploads will no longer be accepted through the iTunes Connect interface on that date.
Application Loader offers fast uploading, a more stable connection, and early validation warnings. You can now also submit binaries that contain In App Purchase using Application Loader. Make sure the status of your app in iTunes Connect is Waiting for Upload before you submit your binary through Application Loader.
If you have installed iPhone SDK 3.2 or later, you can access Application Loader from the Utilities folder (/Developer/Applications/Utilities/Application Loader.app). You can also download Application Loader from iTunes Connect.

I have used the Application Loader in the past to upload binary, it suppose to give you more detail in case of error. It's an option if the developer needs it.
Couple days ago, i updated my app using the itune browser, and it kept bounced me off not because my binary has issue. It took 4-5 times, i have to log in and out to make it work. I think they have in-house issues with itune upload, not necessary means anything.

It's just an alternative (and soon to be primary) way of uploading your assets to the App Store. I don't think it has any negative ramifications for those of us developing with Titanium.

it looks like this will only be possible with 1.4.0

All is good.
Pushed a new app out tonight built on 1.3.2 using the Application Loader for the first time and had no problems submitting it. Good to go :)
