Swipe in horizontal positon on iPhone/iPad

Does "swipe" works when iPad is in horizontal position? From what I figure out it looks like it works incorrect, not in "left - right" direction but in "top - bottom". Is it Appcellerator bug or bug in iPhone simulator?

  • Looks like the swipe event is only functioning properly in portrait mode (not upside down). I entered a ticket here to track the issue. In the meantime, you can use the touchstart and touchend events, which faithfully report the x/y coordinates of those touch events.
