Installing error!

Hello everyone!
I think most of us are having trouble adjusting ourselves to the Ti 1.4! We all hope for a better Ti Dev!

I wanted to test my apps on the device, but when I try to, it stops and alert me with a box saying "install error"!

iTunes is updated to 9.1.2
iPhone SDK is updated to 4.0
xCode is updated to 3.2.3
My iPod is updated to 4.0.0

I don't know what's going on!
will we have to stop developing and updating our apps in the AppStore because of this buggy release?

However, thank you for the efforts you guys spent for releasing this version!

thank you all!
best

  • You may try reinstalling Titanium Developer from scratch and see if it will then accept Titanium 1.4.

If that doesn't work, try reinstalling the iPhone SDK and then attempt the 1.4 installation again.

If all else fails, change careers and deliver mail for a living. ;)

  • Maybe you can find a hint what is going wrong in build.log file
    ([titanium mobile project path]/build/iphone/build/build.log)
You can also open project in XCode and build it there ([titanium mobile project path]/build/iphone/*.xcodeproject) and see gdb output.
