Titanium on Win7 (64 Bit)

Hi,
after having massive problems to get it run, kitchensink starts - but only, when i start an emulator manually. Furthermore, the logging does not work.

Andorid-sdk is 1.6,
Win 7 (64Bit),
32-Bit Java-jdk & sdk (first tried 64Bit but this did not work)

Trace-log at http://pastie.org/1078075
(why the hell can't one right-click to copy&paste??)

And yes, there is no such file ('titanium_2_loading…blah..\config.ini'), so java is right. Why is it not created?

Please excuse my english :-)
Frank

  • When using 64-bit Windows any of the tools that you need to run from a prompt (adb, ddms) should be run using the 32-bit version of CMD.EXE that can be found in the %windows%\syswow64 directory.

  • Thanks, but the solution was another:

    1.) choose api 2.1 as sdk (don't know why…),
2.) created an emulator with the name taken from the trace-log manually.

    this thingy is very …hmm…unstable..

    but now, it runs.

    • I develop on Win 7 64-bit as well as XP Pro 32-bit and it seems about the same on both for me.
