  • I have a more exact description after my test. actually we don't need to click. Wait 20second and close and start again inside your iphone simulator.
The app will stuck at the splash screen. I guess the app is trying to send out user usage information to appcelerator but exception occured when no internet assess.

    • I think its a deeper problem than the analytics. Allot of my apps require internet access on startup however when running them without internet to test, they ran fine, notifying me of the lack of internet connection! (And they got past the splash screen…)

  • you can try to disable this in tiapp.xml file( in the root of application ). Set the analytics to false, and force a rebuild deleting the build/iphone/build folder

  • It is confirmed the problem is analytics. It happen to all app when there is no internet access.
    To recreate the problem simply:
start your app in offline mode, wait at least 20 seconds, press the bottom button to exit, click your app again.
The app will stuck in the splash screen forever.
Turn off analytics will fix the problem. Thanks Daniel.

  • If it's a bug, you should create a bug report in https://appcelerator.lighthouseapp.com/projects/32238-titanium-mobile if you haven't already.
