  • Yes, sure I mean multitask….
I take the functionality from this github-three =>
    http://github.com/appcelerator/titanium_mobile/tree/ios4_multitask

    and patched my 1.4.0 Titanium-mobilesdk …. with that I can already use backgroundservices… :-)

  • Congratulations on your approved app.

Can you tell us please how did you do this part?

What dirs did you copy to where and stuff like that if you don't mind??

and how did you implement the local push notification? an example would be very much appreciated!

    Thank you!

  • Well,

I take some of the changes that jeff made and put them to my sources of titanium.
I think the multi task services (local push) will be available in the 1.5.0 release?!

But if someone is interested I can give you my own compiled mobile-sdk based on 1.4.0
    where this service is integrated.

But it will not run on further releases cause appcelerator will change the implementation….

  • Marc Bender,
Thank you for coming over to reply! I'm so glad!

Well, I think when using unstable mobilesdk, we get to rename the "unstable" sdk to something like t-1.4.0 instead of replacing the "stable" 1.4.0 directory with the unstable "1.4.0". This might sound confusing explaination. but here is the link, it's explained better:

    http://developer.appcelerator.com/doc/mobile/get_continuous_builds

But I would really appreciate your help Mr. Marc if you would please share your own compiled 1.4.0 copy.

    Thank you again!

    Sam
