CoffeeScript and Titanium Developer integration

After a bit of experimenting I added integrated support for CoffeeScript into the Titanium Developer. Here's a screenshot in case anybody is interested: http://bit.ly/d6Yxkw The current integration adds a CoffeeScript precompilation step (there's an extra button 'Coffee' for it). Another option was to fully integrate it into the standard compile process.

If you would like to have a modified Titanium Developer with integrated CoffeeScript made available as a release make you voices heard :-)

  • Now it's a matter of interested a few other questions… For example, what's the best way to distribute it? As a simple semi-manual patch? As a patch with an installer? As a stand alone version of Titanium Developer? If so, then where to host it package? Would Appcelerator would to make it an official part of Developer? etc.

To make it a bit more useful I'm also tempted to add a simple code editor to the Developer app and connect that with the "Edit" button, which is really a "Configure" button. If anybody knows about a great jQuery or other JS toolkit code editor widget definitely mention it!
