Can't Run Latest KitchenSink in iPhone Simulator

Hello,

I recently grabbed the latest KitchenSink source code from GitHub. I've had older versions running and wanted to try the new version.

In Titanium Developer, for the KitchenSink application, I chose the 1.4.0 Titanium SDK and the 3.1 Apple SDK.

When I click the Launch button it goes through the motions and eventually gets stuck with these lines in the console:

[INFO] One moment, building ...
[INFO] Titanium SDK version: 1.4.0
[INFO] iPhone Device family: iphone
[INFO] iPhone SDK version: 3.1
[INFO] Performing clean build
[INFO] Detected custom font: comic_zine_ot.otf

I've tried deleting the contents of build/iphone directory in attempt to force a full rebuild, but the same problem persists.

Strangely enough, if I go back to the 1.3.0 Titanium SDK, it builds and runs the KitchenSink application in the iPhone simulator. However, as soon as I change the Titanium SDK back to 1.4.0, it won't run.

How can I get the latest KitchenSink app to run on the iPhone using the 1.4.0 Titanium SDK?

Thank you!!

-Ryan

  • I had the same problem but clearing the build->iphone directory contents usually works. Maybe try uploading the latest build? I've had that solve some problems as well. This will tell you how to do it: link

If it weren't for the constant frustration of working with the Titanium Developer builder this would be an awesome product.
