Integrate Flurry analytics / Custom module

Has anyone here tried to integrate Flurry analytics with a Titanium app? No offense to the built-in analytics, I just have a client who asked to use Flurry. If not, maybe I'll try creating a custom module following this doc http://developer.appcelerator.com/doc/mobile/iphone/module_sdk

  • I have the same issue. I'd love to use Titanium but my client wants to go with Flurry. And PayPal. And other third-party libraries. How will Titanium deal with this?

Appcelerator has a Flurry analytics solution that will roll out with our Module Marketplace, which we're feverishly trying to push out as we speak.

  • Still planning on giving it a shot… but haven't had a chance to start on it yet. I'll update this thread when I do unless someone else beats me to it.

    • How does this one differ from the official module?

      — commented July 4th 2011 by Phil Oye
    • This contains the entire flurry api, whereas the official one only has 2 or 3 of the functions. Plus it works for android. You will need to re-compile though if you want to use it for 1.7.x

I'm fed up with these 1 year old posts with outdated info.

  • BTW - you might want to check out Appsee for your mobile analytics, its way nicer than flurry and gives you things like user video recordings and heat maps… They have an appcelerator plugin (www.appsee.com)
