App rejected because of "preset links"???

Hi,

My iPad app was rejected today because of "preset links". All I'm doing is displaying an RSS feed. Does this violate Apple's terms? Has anyone run into this before?

This is the wording from the email…"we cannot post your application because it appears to contain features, namely, preset links, that bear a resemblance to a well-known third-party publication".

TIA

  • Email them back and ask them to be less cryptic. What "…that bear a resemblance to a well-known third-party publication" means?
Is your app copying some other app design?

  • Hi Tamas,

Thanks. I've emailed them about it. Hopefully they respond quick.

It is not coping any other design either.

    thanks

    Dave
