iPhone app works in emulator but not on device (Titanium 1.4)

I have three apps, all approved by Apple using Titanium SDK 1.3.2.

Today, I used Titanium 1.3.2 to build a new version of two of the apps (an iPhone version and an iPad version), using Apple SDK 4.1. I had to replace 1.3.2's prereq.py to solve the loading problem. I would like to use the latest Titanium SDK but…

When I build the apps using Titanium 1.3.2, they work perfectly on all Apple devices. If I attempt to use any of Titanium's 1.4 releases, including the latest nightly build, the apps run perfectly in the emulator but immediately exit after the splash screen on the iPhone/iPad/iPod.

How can I track the problem on the devices in order to see why they only work when created with Titanium 1.3.2?

  • You can update to 1.4, that is a stable release version. 1.4.1 is in beta and, as said on this page, can be very unstable.

    • @Colton: Thank you for taking the time to reply. Unfortunately, it doesn't work with 1.4, either. That's what started me down the path of trying later releases.
