Tableview drilldown animation
What's the best practice to animate a drill down in a tableview to a 'detailed view'.
For example, when you have your contacts on your iphone and you click on one, the tableview animates to the left and the 'detail contact view' animates to the left as well.
Do you create 2 views and just animate the x property? or is it already built in?

That animation style is built in to iPhone navigation groups and tab groups. That specific 'drill-down' style is used for all the iOS kitchen sink examples.
