Cant run app on device in Titanium for Android

When I go to test and package and select Run on device I select android and then click the Install now button. It hangs for a little bit then comes back with an error:

"Timed out waiting for device to be ready, you may try reconnecting the usb device"

I have my phone connected to the usb and it says on the phone its connected via usb. I have an android ally on windows xp 64 bit. What am I doing wrong? I tried mounting the sd drive and unmounting, still same issue. I read online to fix this put it in charge mode only, but I dont see that option on my phone. Any suggestions?

In order to install the app on your device you have to download the driver for your phone and install it. After that you need to make sure that the phone is in debug mode. Go to Settings –> Applications –> Development and turn on Debug Mode. This will allow Titanium Developer to install the app on your phone.

  • Ok put it in debug mode, downloaded the drivers and now when I click the install now button it hangs for awhile and titanium gives a notice its installing the app, but then the message goes away that its installing the app and this time no pop up time out error message comes up. Actually nothing happens at all.
