How to open comments in the forum

I asked a question here. Comments were closed on my question with the message:

"Comments are closed. The author of the question found the best
answer. How awesome is that?"

I'm the author of the question and I certainly didn't find the best
answer. I didn't designate any answer the best and I'd follow up on
the answer marked as best if I could.

  • So, I just found an incomplete answer. I'd love to add helpful information, but I can't because comments are closed.

    Closing comments is stupid.

    Appcelerator has a lot of promise but it's maddeningly difficult to find information and it's particularly frustrating when you can't share knowledge hard-gained with others. Sigh.
